Welcome to Weymouth
From The Brunswick it’s gentle stroll along The Esplanade, ideal due to it’s flatness for the elderly or disabled, is the pedestrianised town centre, with a good selection of shops, restaurants, wine bars, theatre, multiplex cinema and bowling alley. Weymouth’s rail, bus and coach stations are approximately 5-10 minutes walk. Attractions include the Sea Life Adventure Park, Lodmoor Country Park, the Bird Reserve, The Old Harbour, various small shops, Nothe Fort and Gardens, Boat Trips and Water Sports, Golf Course, Greenhill Gardens with its tennis courts, putting and bowling greens and of course, Weymouth’s wonderful family beach with a variety of activities.

- Greenhill Gardens
A place to relax, some recreational games, great views of the bay and possibly the best gardens in weymouth.
Sandworld International Sand Sculpture Festival at Lodmoor Country Park is open from April to November. This year is theme is literature with the title “Literally Sand” . It’s just ten minutes walk or so along the seafront.
- Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park
Weymouth’s largest attraction, Sea Life Adventure Park is just 15 minutes walk along the seafront from our front door. Or you can take the land train from The Pier Bandstand which is just 75 yards away over the road from us
- Dorset Seafood Festival
The countries premier sea food festival takes place in Weymouth in July.
- Fayre in the Square
Hope Square by the harbour comes alive over the May Bank Holiday Weekend with fun for all the family
- Quad bike beach racing Weymouth
International quad bike, sidecar, solo racing, ages 8 and upwards. Approximately a mile course with bomb holes , chicanes and dare devil jumps. Even some Thundercat demos.
- Weymouth Carnival
Weymouth Carnival has been going strong now for over 50 years. It always takes place on the third Wednesday of August. The town gets very busy at carnival time and it’s always a good idea to book your accommodation well in advance.
